Workers’ compensation by state

Workers’ compensation is governed state by state, and the differences are not cosmetic. Ohio has no private market at all. Texas does not require coverage. California uses its own rating bureau and a shorter waiting period. Each page below carries that state’s rules, sourced to the agency that publishes them.
